When I was in the corps I lead my platoon as the guide. During our few breaks from the days activities I was then told to train those that were not up to par.
This would result in me taking time away from writing home or polishing my boots to getting on the Quarter deck and putting some recruits through the paces.
I had no idea then that 12 years later I would be doing the same thing here in Somerset KY.
Instead of building Marine Recruits I have 46 motivated and excited individuals under my watchful eye 5 days per week.
I have a mixture of testosterone fueled hard charging men from the ages of 19 up to 61. I htne have a bunch of awesome ladies form the ages of 17-60. I even have young ones aging in the range of 6yrs old to 13.
They all are different, some are small, some are tall, some are athletes, some have never stepped foot in a gym and some have never touched a barbell or dumbbell in their life.
All of them come from different walks of life but they all have joined together on the path to physical culture and an improved you.
Many had never met before but now share a bond of friendship that has grown from training side by side, encouraging eachother on.
Just as I did 12 years ago when I stepped on to those yellow footprints in Parris Islandmy clients have experienced the same. While all walked though my gym doors and individual they now have become bonded as a unit, a team.
I have instilled in these various people life skills that go far beyond just training in a gym.
I have had the honor of saving peoples marriages, heping children become great young adults, I have had the pleasure of assisting women to learn to love the person looking back at them in the mirror, many men have left my facility feeling as physically fit as they were back in collge and some feeling in the best shape they ever have been in their life.
Though I have no children of my own I am a proud poppa. I give all of my clients 100% of myself and to watch them grow from where they were when they started brings a tear to my eye and my heart thump mightily.
I don’t have just one client getting results, I have many that are changing every week. for this I am more grateful than any of you will ever be able to know. You allow me to live my dream and enable me to do what I love.
For this I am forever grateful to those that are currently in our gym and to those few future clients that pass our strict screening process.
Keep the Faith,
Your coach: The Machine
Hey Coach,
I’m very new to the gym and your training, having said that I believe I have found a very special coach. On the first day you made me feel at ease, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but you took the time to ask questions and get to know me a little while guiding me thru excercise and training. You allowed me to share my testimony and in turn you shared yours. It seems our childhoods have a lot in common, but God is faithful and uses what others mean for evil, He changes to good. I choose to call it character building. Thanks for welcoming Sammi and I into the team, thank you for investing in our journey to be the best-selves we can be.
Teammate,
Sherri (Mrs. C)
Very sweet, thank you Sherri
