  1. Hello Mike! I just googled “total gym workouts for beginners” and it brought me to your site. I looked at your routine for a beginner and was wondering if that would apply for a female as well as male? It didn’t specify. Since I am not looking to bulk up, I don’t want to over do it. If you can advise, I would appreciate it greatly. I feel so lost when it comes to knowing what to do and how to do it on the total gym.

    • Yes Mary, that routine is for either a male or female. I think you will do best to keep your reps in the 10-15 range. Thank you for stopping by and checking out the site. I hope to get around to doing some updated Total Gym articles and videos. I’m just swamped at my training facility.
